Michael’s career began in structural engineering — inspecting interstate highway bridges and designing parking structures for a professional sports team, multiple universities, and the cities of Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. A second degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan redirected that analytical discipline toward software, enterprise systems, and applied AI.
At General Dynamics Mission Systems, IBM Watson, Watson Health, and Oracle, he operated where technical depth, accountable delivery, and stakeholder trust had to coexist.
